Demetrious from East coast took 1st with a 7 sec pass in his RX-7
Dan from Texas took 2nd in SRWD but broke two trannys

good lord 7 seconds at altitude in a 7?? Good lord we need to get him out here for a week to tune, I'd be willing to shell out extra dough to have him come out!!!!!!!!!

I figure it's worth a try to get him out here.....I just wanted to make sure I have my fuel system installed first. I don't think money is any concern with Demitrious.....he is just so busy but he is a really nice guy......I'm afraid the only time we would be able to get him to tune for us is to bring him out a couple days early for next years NHRA import drags since he will be here anyways.

 

hmmm, well dunno what to say then, just need someone who can pull all they can out of our cars here at altitude

The more I look at that launch.....the more I think I can get a 1.3 60 ft........It was pathetic....I didn't even use my line lock to do a burnout in 2nd gear and really heat the tires up. You can tell I bogged the launch by how bouncy the car is.....


If you listen to my shifting you can tell I was still pretty slow on 2nd and 4th gear and 3rd gear took me for ever to get in since I had to wait for the RPM's to drop.

 

the shifting of ur gear and the sound of it is not slow compare to some of the videos i saw when they race.
