autoX near Cheyenne/Malstrom AFB

I'm considering a move to the Cheyenne (FE Warren AFB) or Malstrom AFB area - info?

Specifically I guess I'm just wondering what the area is like, stuff to do/see, and racing venues/autoX events.

Thanks,

Thats pretty close where i used to live up in colorado nic, its pretty dry up there compared to down in the springs. Its beatiful if you ask me, ft.collins is only 20 or 30 mins away from where you want to be, and theres a **** load to do there. Not to mention all the nice roads up the mountians. As far as racing goes....you'd really have to make the trek down to denver unfortunatlly. Ft.collins car scene is pretty decent i suppose.

cool - I find out Friday where I'm headed...

I probably wouldn't move there for another 6months at minimum I would guess, but then I'd be there for 2 years or so...

have a list of about 13 bases/airframes I had to rank order...
okinawa, tokyo, iceland, cali, montana, wyoming, DC, arizona, vegas, etc....most of them around nothing....some of them won't be available or needing pilots, but we're not told that sort of information. Sort of crazy making a sheet ranking places somewhat tacticly to where you might want to go for 2 years (even though you may not be there most of the time)...

hit me up on AIM sometime

Cheyenne is like windy 340 days of the year, that gets old quick. I can't remember being through that part of town when it wasn't windy.
