Hi All,
Pikes Peak Sports Car Club is staging our first autocross May 21st at the World Arena in Colorado Springs.
Registration 8:00-9:30. First car off about 10.
All cars must pass safety inspection, have seat belts
and mufflers. NO loud exhaust!
Helmets, Snell 90, DOT 90 or newer, REQUIRED.
Some loaners available.
Valid drivers license
PPSCC members $25. Non members $35
All drivers must work.

would my NA with header and straightpiped to two mufflers be too loud?its pretty loud.

 

I appreciate your concern. We do have to be cautious about noise levels in this location. There have been previous complaints resulting in a crack down on sound levels. My car has a Racing Beat header into a Flowmaster muffler. It hasn't violated noise levels. If you think your car is pretty loud, it might be too loud. We share the location with several clubs, so we need to be careful.

Thanks to those who came out to the PPSCC autocross Sunday. It was a good day to autocross. We got 5 runs on a very warm spring day. It was good to meet Qwen and watch his T II power around a fast, fun course. 1 SA, 2 FB, 2 FC, a good showing for RX 7s. At least 2 of us will be running next Sunday at the World Arena. I will have my 79 Limited F/Prepared out. Stop by and say hi.
