I just moved to SLC from Arizona. No rotary currently, looking to pick up a project after winter. Thinking TII or FD.

 

I'm in Ogden area and commute to SLC. The FD pretty much only comes out on weekends and as of this week it's under the knife for upgrades

She'll be up by spring, so if you see a slammed VR FD come chat it up.

 

I'm new to the area, I'm stationed at Hill AFB. I currently drive a friends AE86, about 1 mile a day just to and from work. He is currently in Japan and I'm simply holding it for him. Also looking for a winter project, maybe a rx7 or a 240sx?

 

Any of you guys know where I could find a 84-85 13b front cover and distribuor? I have a old 13b sitting back in Oklahoma I might pick up in the spring.

I live in SLC, just bought my first rotary last week. been a VW guy for the last bagillion years. thought I'd try out a new "needy girlfriend" lol from one to the other...............I know. lol

I live in ogden and have an 88t2.

 

I might be moving to the Hill AFB area, I got a new Job there, I should be there around Late August, I will not be bring my 7 just yet, I wont have anywhere to store it inside, I`ll check back with crowd then, I`ll be driving my 10` 3 dr Yaris. Red with Mb morotrsports wheels, red painted calibers, lowered. tinted windows. The Hood on my seven is now painted.

13th of August Start date, Willbe looking for the 7`s in the area when I get there. Damm I wish I could bring mine with me this fall, Just have to wait to spring, I`ll have a close friend bring it out. Or maybe drive it out just before Thanksgiving.

 

I have a 83 LE. I live in Harrisville. Maybe 10 miles north of Hill AFB. I will let you store your sexy 7 next to mine in the garage. Expecially if you leave the keys. Lol. Good luck with the move.

 

just tossign this in the mix we have one guy going to Beaver just about every week and a group of us have spoken about heading into the beehive state for a cruise

 

I have a question with less than 1 week to leave, Are the Gangs bad in and around the SLC area.

 

I have a place to keep the car now, But not the funds to bring it just yet, I damm sure ain`t driving it so far, I`d be broken when i arrived. That car and I are good for about 300 mile road trips only. Hopefully before Xmas though, At a $1.00 a mile it wont be cheap.

 

We go cruisn around state street and don't get messed with. With the exception of the police. But we usually have pretty good nights. I haven't had my car out for some time because some electrical gremlins decided to mess up all the lights on my car.

 

Not really, the state is flooded with Mormons more than thugs

I'm in Bountiful, just north of Salt Lake (no rx7 yet though, just my blue Mazda Protege MP3 to get me through college first...) I'll have to keep my eye's pealed for your guys' next meeting times/dates. I love to check them out for more idea's on what I can do to my future fd
(also, gangs in slc aren't bad, general crime though might be more noticable in parts of rose park, magna, or west valley (or those cities at least have that reputation, lol. ), but overall it's fine. Just avoid anywhere west of I-15, in salt lake county, and you'll be safe jk)
