Great guy, knows his stuff. He'll do whatever he can to help you out. Right now he's one of the few people I would trust with my car.

Awesome Shop in Kansas City. They do everything import performance, but Scott, the owner, is a pretty big rotor head.

Description: Small one mechanic shop with a good selection of parts cars. Kyle is one of the most knowledgable guys I've ever known. He has every nut and bolt memorized on RX-7's. Not to big on doing extensive modifications. But builds good motors, and does excellent repair work. He's a good guy that's supported rotaries since the early 70's. He deserves your support if you live in SW Missouri.

^^that's my guy, he live 20 minutes from me on this little dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Known him for a while. Kyle has done my engine, i've bought all my suspension pieces from him, interior pieces and soon i will go see him about more front bodywork. In fact i'm going over today for a new set of wheels.
He has alot of experience with RX-7s, or anything with a rotary under the hood. i trust him more then most anyone when it comes to a question i have about my car. He always treats me fair and gives me good deals on anything i need.

Owners are SCCA racers, Kent 3 time national champ in his MG, son Jesse races a first gen. They are RB dealers and can do ANYTHING (dont know about the FD though) they mainly deal with 1st and 2nd gens. Can build any rotary motor, stock, streetported or bridge.

http://www.networksplus.net/kprather/index.html

Another great Rotary GURU. Jesse now races a miata, and has moved and started his own shop on his own. His knowledge of racing, and rotaries in general goes beyond anyone i've every met. He doesnt do many 'street' cars. If any at all. He's done All my race engines in the past and i wouldnt let anyone else touch anything that goes on my race car.
In his knew shop he also has a chassis dyno*

I was wondering if anybody knew a good shop within about 50 or so miles from Omaha, NE or Council Bluffs, IA. I don't trust anybody but me under the hood of my 7 so any recommended shops would be greatly appreciated as I'm newer to working on a rotary.

Have had great experiences with Roy at Grand Ledge Foreign & Domestic Car Service in Grand Ledge, MI.

For example, I once took a poor-running 1st gen to Crippen, the local Mazda dealership, only to walk out $80 poorer and with nothing to show for it. Their recommendation was to start replacing things until the problem was resolved. Took it to Roy and it was fixed while I waited for $25.
