And you thought you had a rat's nest to get rid of...
popped the hood and found I had at least two if not a whole family had been living under the hood for quite a while... couldn't see anywhere not covered in dried grass clippings.
Just got her back to my house in Topeka this weekend.
Blew an apex seal maybe a week after the clutch let go..
Had been in the field of a friend for a few years. Trying to decide what to do with her, already have an '83 DD and an '84 parts car...
so after looking at pictures, it's not so obvious what the pack rat(s) did to the engine bay... must have been a nice home for them though...

She's rather chewed up, I would need to have a full new engine and harness, etc to get it back running. Maybe a nice T2?

you think thats bad? i got one in my S5 convertible somewhere inside the car. bout to start ripping the interior out in a min (don't even know how many wires are fudged yet)
