A bunch of us are meeting up just to hang out and do a bit of driving. Last week we had a wide variety of cars in attendence. Everything from a classic mustang, STi, a couple of SRT4's, s/c'd RSX, and much more.

Ok kids, gaydm is just poking fun at jdm. It's just a site where we all don't take are selves so seriously. Not for "gay mitsubishi owners" just car lovers of all types. We have a couple of rotards on the board, in fact, the other coadmin just sold his modded T2.

If all you want to do is get your panties in a bunch about a sites address then find another thread. If you want to know of where to meet up with fellow car people and what not keep on reading and posting.

hahaha what the **** has kyle started? actually the get together he speaks of will have kids from various interweb car forums, not just ours. alot of the 'car scene' in kansas city is very serious and drama laden. we decided to make our own forum for us and our friends, and its format is just something to keep it from being flooded with the same toughguy asshats that we were trying to get away from. i must say, it's worked quite well . the point being if you're in the kansas city area and would like to meet up with some kids to kick it and probably do some hiway runs driving around, stop on by. if not... haha let the gay jokes continue

Then just what is the site for? You go there and it's all gay looking with "we like pink" then my address bar reads "gaydm", i don't see a lot of STi's, which are the only heterosexual use of pink...

You can't really be upset by all this, you get more attention with the GAYDM.com crapola then Lupe got running a 10.74 @129. What's gayer than that????????

 

 

I thought I had already explained it but here it is one more time.

I am sure you are quite familar with JDM. I imagine I don't have to explain that to you guys.
Basiaclly it happened like this, my friend Nick and I were looking to start a KC based drama free board. We kept trying out all kinds of lame website names but everything we thought up was taken.
So jokingly I say, "How about gaydm.com". We tried it and for some odd reason no one had registered that domain name yet. (If you sarcasm detector is broken, that last bit was sarcasm)
So we start the site and had a friend do some of the webdesign stuff for us and I do agree, he went a bit over board on the "we like pink" thing but its all under constructon and its done fairly well at keeping out the types of folk who take themselves way too seriously.

So there you have it. I always expect some intial "what the hell" type reactions but sometimes folks just cannot get over the word gay.

So, back to the subject at hand, if you want to hang out with fellow car lovers and have nothing to do this coming Friday and are in the area you should come out. As mentioned, there are a couple of rotar lovers amongst are ranks (Israel is one of them). I promise you we don't all walk around wearing pink and you don't have to claim some manner of gaydm affiliation to come to the meet.

Oh, and for the record, I was never pissed. Like I said, I get used to folks making fun of the site, its that nature of the beast I suppose but I was "done" becuase I didnt think I could properly explain it to anyone.

This is my last shot. Keep on with all the teasing and gay jokes you want but also consider coming out.
