Hey, Me and a couple other guys thinking of having an RX meet here in wichita at Buffalo wild wings.

Nothin big, just some rotor heads meetin up to talk smack on each others cars and enjoy some buffalo wings.

So far we're aiming for Sunday Dec. 8 sumtime during the late afternoon. If u guys have any suggestions on the time, post here and let us know.

Also, do u guys think we should meet somewhere and then have a lilttle "mini-parade" up to Wild Wings, or if we shoudl meet at Wild wings.

Where exactly IS this place? North Rock Road? How far up? Traffic always SUCKS on Rock.....it might be kind of cool to meet at the Warren Theater East (K-96 and 13th) parking lot, then caravan to BWW, maybe. I could bring my digital camera and a tripod for a group shot of the cars and people, and the Warren's parking lot is plenty big for that.......

 

That might work, but the caravan would be pretty short... We would just take K-96 right to rock ...

What's Up?!! I was AWOL last weekend so I'm out of the loop. Did you all hook-up or is this one still on the drawing board?

 

Still on the drawing board.. If we can get ahold of Dion and Jeremy and set a time then we will have everyone(that I know of)

 

If its going to be a big turnout I might make the drive down in the 944, although I might wait until I get another FC (better be a TII)

 

OK, as of now we have 5 FD's for Sunday. I'll do my best to get ahold of the last guy. So is 4:00 official? Where are we meeting

I think most people will be able to make it next Sunday (Dec 8).. 4:00 at Buffalo Wild Wings on North Rock Rd(just south of K-96).

Anyone want to caravan down there? Couple more days to plan.. Hope the weather is good.

 

Can we make it closer to 6:00 so we can get some food and talk, or did you guys want to meet somewhere before dark, look at the cars and then go there. The weather channel also shows rain for that day and if it rains I can't take the RX7 out, Drag radials and rain don't mix very well.

 

OK here it is, We're meeting at 3:30 at the autozone at harry and webb. From there we caravan to buffalo wild wings. We'll be taking Webb Rd. up to 29th, then cutting accross the Northrock 14 parking lot and we're there.

Sorry fuzzypunks, we watned to meet during the day time. it'll probably be dark by about 5 or so.

Who will not show up if it rains? I dont' mind rain, I'm just worried about snow.

As long as the snow clears by Sunday you can count me in. Can't take my RX out into the sloppy gue snow left overs if it's still hanging around.

 

So far it looks like I am in.....
I may have to run to Missouri....I haven't winterized my boat yet, and this cold weather is scaring me....the last thing I need is a cracked block!

Hopefully the streets will be clear, as I just don't take the RX-7 out in nasty stuff.....

Hmm, if I remember and we're not doing anything, I'll try to stop by... Won't have my FC though (torn apart at the moment). Maybe someone will be driving my old FD tho? Nice to see some folks in the area doing something...

Yeah, it was pretty cool. We had 5 or 6 FDs, 2 Supras and a brand spankin' new 350 Z in our little meet.
And the wings were good at Buffalo Wild Wings, to boot!

The single-turbo T-78 FD was pretty damned cool, makes one start thinking those thoughts......

But the guys were all cool too, just a bunch of enthusiasts sitting around and talking.....good stuff!
