Well, I suppose this is several months late, but count me in for next year. I wish I knew about this last summer, but I guess this gives me something to look forward to for next year. I'm getting excited already!

 

I'll try to drop in some night, next year... if I can get my bugs worked out. Stock 87 NA... not much, but still fun. Maybe I'll even have a ported motor!!

Same here, I have been looking forward to wed nights in the summer since I first saw the pictures and read about it just a few days ago. It will be nice to see other FD's, I havent seen another since last spring, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one.

When in the spring do these meets start?

Once the weather gets nicer. Most of the guys will not bring their cars out until the salt is off the road. I would think mid-late Aprilish.

 

Do you guys ever hit the "Hogs-back" in Richfield? Nice curvy stretch. It's a killer if you haven't driven it before though.

Hey everyone.. Im kinda new in town (just moved here from New zealand) and it looks like you guys/girls are the only people who do meet up from time to time, atleast in the state of WI. I dont own a rotary but have done in the past so figured id give you guys a look in. things pretty quiet this time of year i take it??
look forward to hearing from any of you about meets, race days etc, or just what ever.

This will be my third winter but only settled here a few months back.. My wife is a born an raised brookfield girl.. I had a whole bunch of rotors, i worked for an import yard, importing direct from Japan.. so a taste for everything.. I love this place, the cars are SOOOOO cheap, you have no idea. although some of your imports like the RX-7 are dame expensive here.
So, nothing happning till it gets warm again?

Lol, my car wont be out till the salt is gone too, untill then it just sits in the garage, covered and warm. I think I made it sound like I assumed these meets started soon, ha, my FD will never see the snow or salt! I allready marked it on my calander, see yall in mid April!

 

Today was pretty nice. I pulled the car out of the garage and gave her a bath. Makes me anxious....hopefully we can meet in a few weeks if the weather continues to stay nice.
