VR FD spotted, anyone know whose it is?

Today I was at work (i'm a mailman). I had just finished filling my mail truck, getting ready to take off (this was about 2:45), and I heard a rotary. There was a VR FD that pulled into the Stadium Rd. post office. I went up after it, parked my mail truck, and only got a short look before the owner emerged from the building, got in, and took off. He was an early-to-mid 20's asian guy wearing a black shirt. The car had a glass sunroof, was a 5 speed, had R1 seats, R1 (i think, not painted) lip, downpipe, mid pipe, and cat back (judging from the color of the exhaust). It also sounded like he had either non-sequential twins or a single, because he didn't rev too high (i'd guess about 3k) and i didn't hear any turbo spool.

EDIT: This was in Ann Arbor, MI

lol, it's whitey, not whitney. I couldn't tell what brand it was, but i knew that it was a rotary right away. I have a bridge ported 12a powered '82 with a Racing Beat header/cat back, and i love the sound.
