Hey does anyone know of a shop that can do chrome plating?

There is a place up on Laclede, just west of Grand, called United. Look in the phone book under chrome plating.

I am having an alternator and thermostat housing chromed at Triangle Plating around West Florissant and 70. They should be finished in a couple of weeks.

 

Post pics when you get them back, and how much $$ was it?

 

How well does it stand up to heat?

You might want to talk to Ron about it, I think I remember him talking about being in the metal finishing business. He might know a good place to get some work done.

Or I could be thinking of somebody else....
