Aug is just too far for me. I need my car tuned sooner. I have to go and talk to my friends too. rx-7na and saiyan too see what they can do too. will let you know when I find out more info ken.

 

Well if you can't wait two weeks then we probably don't have enough interest to bring Steve in this year.

St. Louis gets him about twice a year. I guess our area of the country does not have enough souped up RX-7s.

I personally would not want to own a stock FD. Too complicated and screwed up. Just a simple single turbo for me.

I have a shop owner up here with an FD that is all over this if we have enough interest.

 

All I know is MA Performance as of two weeks ago had Aug 1, 8, 22 weekends available for dyno sessions.

It's up to you to find five committed cars that can pick a date and get Steve a $200 down payment 30 days before the event.

If you want to drag this into September or October it's up to you.

I'll coordinate the best I can.

Ok, I have 2 people from fargo here, myself and snoble. Now touturborx7 said he needs his sooner, how about the rest of those guys? Are they good to go? if they are then Ill have snoble take touturborx7's spot and that will give us 5. we need verbal confirmation from the other 3 and we can lock this in.

 

I also want my car to be tune asap, but doesn't looking like my car will be ready for july.. so August seem to be brighter for me... I'm down for August tunning...

 

I don't know if I'll make it yet. Carlos Lopez is clearancing my rotors and getting ready to balance them. The assembly will be balanced next week sometime wen I talked to him today. So I shuld see my parts the 1st week of July. Then I'll need to break it in.

 

Kan needs down payments at least 30 days in advance to be able to book decent ates on flights.

Are you all still want August 1st or is the 8th or 22nd better.

I am interested in this, however my car is getting a new motor at the moment and will need a break in, plus reinstall of turbo kit. I think it should be done by August 1st. What is the cost of this?

 

this is going to take place in MN if you didnt know that. It looks like you aren't from MN. Or did you move to MN? Just letting you know if you didnt catch that this was taking place in MN.

 

yeah I know it's in MN. The shop is just under 4 hours from me.

 

alright I guess if you car is ready by then, then you are on the list too, but like Ken said deposits are needed in a month advance. so you gotta figure it out soon.

05rex8, Its most likely goin to be in the ball park of $400-$600 depending on what you want. but remember that you also have to pay for the dyno as well. looks like they really upped their price for the dyno rental, $110/hr.

 

I talked to MA Performance five minutes ago and they race many cars on some weekends including there 1000+ hp Mitsu FD.

As of right now they still have Aug 1, 8 22 available but that could change.

Please give me a date that you want and that we can commit to so we can reserve that weekend.

im in for either the 1st or the 8th. my wife has her high school reunion on the 1st, so this would give me an excuse not to go to the reunion.
