Is there any interest in bringing Steve in to tune? I was thinking of using the dyno in the Quad cities, which is on the border where Iowa,Missouri and Illinois meet. Looking to do this in late Apr. or early May.

IA IL border. Davenport, Moline, Rock Island. About 2 hrs from Chicago.

 

2 hours?? Thats a haul..especially if you'll be completely untuned as I would be.

 

I trailered mine 13 hrs to Tulsa, had some problem and couldn't get a full tune. Then trailered 6 hrs to St Louis. Guess it depends on how bad you want it.

 

2 hours isn't to bad. I trailered it to st louis for my first tune last summer. I will most likly trailer it to this one if it happens aslo.

 

trailors aren't for unstreetable cars but for those that don't have money to waste confuciuos say.

 

Well hhhmmm. Gotta suburban..will need 2 find a trailer now lol. This would be a cool road trip with tha pops.

 

U-haul rents trailers for a decent price. Maybe we could caravan there. might be fun.

We have 4 people interested so far. When there is at least 5 people willing to send a deposite, I can set a date with Steve. We have to meet the 5 car min. first though.

If theirs ONLY 4 people how about we just set this up for the Chicago area? I know we'll have BuffDaddy, OORX7, and ME in that case. I'm almost POSITIVE we can get 2 more, NO problem.

I don't want to trailer my car 2 hours or whatever. Tell me what you guys think. I'll setup a seperate thread if the thread starter would like me to do so. Not trying to hijack your thread just saying that we have plenty of Chicago people so it makes more sense we do it here.

 

I would have to agree. Your going to have a hard time finding alot of people willing to spend the money to get steve to come and tune in Iowa. There are just not alot of RX's in Iowa or people willing to spend the money to bring steve in. No offence just the way it is.

 

Chicago is 5+ hrs from me, so I was hoping for something closer. It also scares me to have my car sitting outside in a hotel parking lot in Chicago. If we don't get 1 more though I'm willing to travel.

 

Wow your car is in need of a tune if it takes you 5 hours to get to chicago from waterloo. I can make it in 6 from the cities.

Most parts of chicago are very nice. If you even get a nice hotel on michigan ave you can have underground parking. You dont have to be scared of the big ol city.

I can relate and feel your pain though man. I use to live in Mason city.

Also if you think the cities my be closer two you I think we are getting him here some time in late march early april, but kevin will now the exact date.

I would probably be interested if this was setup in the quad cities around the end of April. If it's in Chicago, no big deal, just count me out.

ryan1 -- What is the total price and deposit that's needed? Is the dyno a mustang or a dynojet?
