ST. Louis: Who can build me a 8pt NHRA roll cage???

I am looking for someone in STL, MO. to build me a 8pt NHRA legal roll cage. I need removable door bars too. If anyone can build this for me let me know. I would need it done during May. Also I need prices and build time.

Thank You,
Phil

I traded my old Scoot Hood for it. You only need a 6 point, not a 8 point.

well i want a cage good for 10.00 or slower and the NHRA book says you need an 8 or 10 pt. So are you sure about the 6pt roll bar instead of the cage?

a 6 point roll bar is legal down to 10.00 as long as you have a stock firewall

Oh well I knew that you had an 8pt so I thought I needed one too. If a 6pt is all I need as long as I dont break 10.00 (Which i def. won't), then I will just get a 6pt instead.
Thanks

You can also try Izzy's Custom Cages He did our cage, Scott Rhea, he was one of the exhibitor's at the show. He did our SCCA Cage on the 87 Solo Car that was displayed.

By the way Steven, super show, had fun met lots of people, sorry we had to leave when we did but had a family commitment that evening. Oh, and sorry we had everyone ducking when the car backfired as we started it.

Yeah, Izzy has a special right now. If you work some racing events, he'll give you one heck of a discount on a cage.

www.izzyscustomcages.com/WillWorkForCages.html Although that wouldn't really amount to much by May ...

Good to meet everyone at TPR the other day.

If TPR can't work you in, let me know.

Just curious but how do you benefit from people working at SCCA events?

Directly.... I don't.... indirectly, I get to race against more people and hopefully with more people working the corners and behind the scenes.

"Workers" are becoming harder and harder to find and retain. It doesn't matter how many drivers want to attend a race... no workers, no race.
