OK, registration for the Solo event this Sunday is from 8am-10am. Entry fee is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.

I was thinking we could meet up somewhere for breakfast and then drive over to the event. Any takers?

I am up for that; do we need to where helmets and how many runs do you think each car will get?

They have loaner helmets. I am not sure how many runs you get, but I do know that everyone that runs has to work also. It's probably nothing major, like being a corner marshall or something.

What work would be envolved in "working"? I've never been to any auto-xs, but i'd like to see how my Lancer would do. Might also be a good bonding experience if I could get my dad to run the 7 at the same time.

What time would it be at UMB?

I am going to try to be there. So all I need to do is show up at 8am-10am and pay $30, then I can do a course walkthrough? Rain won't stop this, right? I love autocross when its wet. Working is not a problem for me, if you want to meet up for breakfast that morning where should we meet and at what time.

I'm not sure about the work. I assume it's mostly corner marshalling, though I'm sure there's more that needs to be done. Bring the lancer and your dad's 7. I'm sure you both will have a blast.

Registration starts at 8am, ends at 10am, with a driver meeting and course walkthrough immediately after, with the first car starting no later than 10:30.

I'm going to suggest that we meet at the McDonald's in Brentwood, which is right where 64 and 170 intersect, at about 8am. We could have breakfast there, then just take 170 up to the event. Anyone needing directions should PM me, and I'll get them to you. AFAIK, rain will not stop this.

Now for a few suggestions:

Bring a cooler with whatever you want to drink/eat for the day. I'm pretty sure there will be no food available there. You should also bring some chairs and an umbrella, because it's likely it will rain. Tools and a tire pressure gauge would be a great idea too.

So, unless anyone has any objections, I'll see you all there.
