Saw a REALLY clean stock S4 TII going south on St. Marys turning right onto 176 at about 12:45pm today.
Who ever this is I have to say MAN that is a really clean FC you got there.


Whether its for work or they live around there but I've noticed that there are a lot of FC guys in the Vernon Hills / Libertyville area. I've counted 5 different ones in the past 2 weeks. Its just nice to see them around and looking in such good condition.

OH wait I almost forgot, yesterday I saw an old woman (had to be in her late 60s) driving a VERY clean white FB on the same road. Driving on 176 right by Lambs Farm at about 5:30pm. Got to love it!!!!

 

hehe that was me. I was driving to the post office the same time, take that route to avoid milwaukee/going through libertyville. might have been me, no wing, s5 tails, racing beat turbo back.

Yep that was you. Man from what I can tell just driving by it looks really clean.
I just picked up my FC from Protégé Garage on Saturday so my car is finally back on the road. I have a little more tuning to do this weekend but at least all the problems are worked out now.

Do you live or work in the area?

thanks, there are a few small dings in the hood but thats about it. I've been meaning to stop by and check out the shop, do they have a dyno? I just put a wideband in, getting ready to remove the airpump and look for some sort of fuel management, hopefully have something going by mid july.

I live in gurnee about 5 minutes from there. Dont know anyone in the area with fc's/fd's. I always see a few in libertyville though.

juice22 - No they don't have a dyno they do all their tuning on the street. Trust me you need to go check them out The guys there are really professional and will do everything to take care of you. CaptainKRM is the owner of the shop his name is Ken give him a call. The nice things is that he can pretty much get anything you're looking for your car new or used.
I live in Lake Villa right near 45 and 83. I see a lot of guys in the area with FC's but I never get a chance to stop them because they are always going the other direction.

CaptainKRM - Yeah I'm lovin the fact that I can drive it without worrying about it any more. I did have to fix one of the wires on that plug again but no big deal. I will give you a call later today. Some time in the next few months you should have another BBQ and see if we can get some other RX7 guys there.

damn thats crazy, never seen your fd around here. I've seen a yellow skyline pull into the entrance closest to 120 a few times.
Definately should meet up.

Thats cool. Never met him or anything...seems like a nice car. Its black, and wingless now. Claimin around 550hp.

 

That guys a arrogant ***** with no *****. We've tried to race him a few times in one of our 7s and he backs down EVERY time. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice car but the owner it a tool.
