I've been a lurker on this site for a while now and I've wanted an FD for as long as I can remember. It is my obtainable dream car. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw an incredibly clean CYM(!) FD in Burnsville tonight. I feel I have to apologize to the owner because it probably weirded him out a little bit when a younger guy in a Red VW Corrado pulled up next to him at a car wash and complimented him on the car and then left.

The car looked completely stock - R1 wing, even looked like the stock exhaust (but I could smell that it didn't have a cat). Nice owner, but I really wish I could have stuck around and talked. If you are on here, please let me know!

I must be an automobile masochist as I own a Corrado and aspire to someday own an FD when I have the funds to properly care for it. Just this winter I passed up on an almost mint 1989 TII with 50K original miles, Haltech and a fully rebuilt, streetported motor with a huge turbo. I just couldn't pull the trigger on buying it

Does your shop work on a lot of 7's? I'm in negotiations now for 1 and I'm in need of a reputable shop for me needs...I'm in Prior Lake.

 

we worked on a few already, fb fc fd, alot of our own vehicles are rx7's. come check us out, we recently had Steve khan come tune a bunch of fd's and one fc this past weekend.

Yeah, the car was Competition Yellow Micah. Very rad color. I would LOVE to come by the shop sometime and just see and learn things. I don't have an RX-7 currently as I don't want one until I have a good "rainy day" fund.

Would you mind if I dropped by the shop sometime just to check things out? I'd rather not be a pest or anything but if you don't mind I'd love to drop by.
