I'm in Rapid City, and there are 4 others that I know in Rapid City with RX-7s. Plus I see 2 or 3 2nd gens and a 1st gen driving around town too.

 

word, we all oughta get together for a black hills cruise or something......I might be picking up another first gen and maybe 2 more 2nd gens. Do you know anyone looking for a 7 in sd? I know where to get 2 1st gens and 2 2nd gens. I just hate to see them waste away know what I mean.

 

What year and trim (turbo, GXL, base model) are the 2nd Gens, and what condition are they in?

If you are going to be staying in Rapid City, the Black Hills Sports Car Club puts on autocross on Sundays, and there is Drag Racing at the 1/8th mile track in Sturgis. I don't have the schedule for Sturgis, but the autocross schedule is on www.rapidcityracing.com its a forum simular to this one. Scroll down to RACING and its listed under BHSCC Schedule.

 

I'm in Mitchell with a TII

 

Do you guys go up to Oahe to the drag strip up there? I might come up there this summer if I get my TII motor installed before the end the summer. There aren't any races or anything in Mitchell is there?

 

for drag most would go to Thunder Valley in Marion which is maybe an hour away?

 

I'm not familiar with much of eastern South Dakota unless I-90 runs through it. I'm not from here I got stationed here. Is Marion closer to Rapid City then Oahe? Does Marion has a 1/4 mile track or 1/8 like over here in Sturgis.

Damn! thats over 330 miles from here. Eastern SD might as well be a different state. I miss living in NJ where there are a bunch of tracks all within 90 minutes.
