Like no more than 6-8 people we'll push the date back say 2 weeks and see what happens?

 

I'd say if we don't have the ten people by this Sunday, we'll push it back a couple of weeks.

 

^Prolly ought to go ahead and push it back then. Also i don't know how well this is going to work if we don't have a concrete date set for the staff at Musclecar Specialties, we can't just keep changing the date without them getting pissed or just saying to hell with it. Atleast i don't think that is.

I think that if you set a deadline for a certain amount of people to be signed up would be good, so by say the 18th of october if we don't have ten people then just call it off all together?

 

De 18th's a Monday, how about Sunday the 17th? We'll move it there and see if we can drag everyone else in. Will give them a jingle tomorrow. They're great guys, am sure they'll understand.

Honestly pushing it back probably won't work for me. I've got something of a busy month coming up, both labor and money wise. Tim, Pho and I were going to dyno our cars together like 2 months ago, but decided to try and make an rx7 gathering out of it. I'm still down for the 3rd, no matter how many people want to come (plus the 4th is my birthday and it would rock the **** if I made more than 200whp and didn't blow my car up). Let me know what you guys think.

 

^^^HAHAHAHAHA chance of making 200WHP or blowin it up real good? IM ALL IN FOR THAT. Lets make it happen. I just don't see too many people signing up at this point, thread has been around a while too.

 

There's a good chance for both (over 200 to the wheels or bust). I don't really care if there are only 3 cars there, it's Sunday so I'm sure not everybody wants to spend 4 or 5 hours at a shop (especially the owners of said shop). We should have a couple of 2-300hp rotary rx7s and a 2jz fc that just went single turbo, so it should be a good time however it works out.

I can't understand anything Pho says so I'm not sure what turbo he put on.

 

Ahh well that would be a good reason then. So im not sure if i can make it on sunday. Im waiting on my co-corker to let me know if he can cover me on sunday. What time was this gonna go down anyway cuz im off at 5. could easily be there by 5:30.

 

I just talked to Rusty from Musclecar Specialties and he was cool with around 5 cars on Sunday, but didn't want many stragglers joining in the day of or flaking out the day before. We figured setting a Thursday deadline for joining in would work well. I'll call them Friday with the final list and we'll get it all setup. That doesn't mean more people can't show up, it just means you can't dyno your car. As of now it's just Tim and I for sure. Cory, you and Pho are in the same boat as of yet.

At this point i need to know a time, that will be the deciding factor on whether or not i get on the dyno that day.

 

Edit: Just got confirmation on sunday, i no longer need to work so i will be at the dyno.
