Exactly like the title says. Saw a red convertible FC first on Monterey Way at the roundabout heading Chipotle's direction and then again a few weeks later headed towards Iowa street on 23rd/Clinton Parkway. Anybody know who it is? Would love to meet up with some Kansas rotary guys.

 

Don't know about the FC. I'm going to go out to Heartland Park for the next track day, September 14th. Would be cool if there were some more RX-7s out there.

 

Seems like rotary has become really scarce in Lawrence. Kinda bums me out. I've only seen that red vert, one white fc coupe and a black fd in the three years I've lived here. And I might swing out to Heartland and see what's happening. I'd love to see some 7's.

 

Anybody know the owner of the white fc coupe on Iowa street off of 15th/Bob Billings in Lawrence? I'd love to meet another fc/rotary fan out here. Also has a 60's era VW truck out front thats been restored it looks like. Anyone know?

 

Been wanting to get out there for quite some time. Am waiting to have both cars set up and ready so my father and I can get booted out for racing . As far as I've heard and read, they don't want any of that going on out there.

 

So I know this is an old thread, but since I started it I figured since I saw another 7, instead of making a new thread I'd just post in this one. I was at the Ambler Rec Center today, up on KU campus, and I saw a black FC with a Turbo II hood and wide rears. It looked super clean and I'd love to talk to the person that owns it. Anybody in Lawrence have any idea who's it is? Thinking of leaving a note on the windshield if I see it again.

I swear I saw this car driving last night at 31st and Iowa, by the post office. If the owner of that car is on here, definitely shoot me a PM, cause I've been drooling over your car for 2 years now and am dying to know more about it.

ya were still around i live in wellsville cars apart at the moment but going togather preety fast would be happy to go to anohter rx7 meet like use to have back in the day

 

I'm down for a Heartland trip. Or even just a get together. At all, for that matter.
