I'm looking for someone who will be rebuilding a 2nd gen engine in the near future. I just want to see if someone would mind if I hung out and helped with thier rebuild so I could learn a little more about my car. (89 gtu). I'm going to be rebuilding mine eventually and want to know what the hell is going on, anyone have something like this going on?

 

I have my stock 13B that was taken out when I swapped lesser-used one in, but not sure that I'm planning on doing a rebuild anytime soon, especially seeing as how I lack a rebuild kit or the cash for one. I do, however, live near Johnson County, KS and am interested in finding other people with these increasingly-rare cars. I have a mostly-untouched 88 FC. Message me if ya like

 

i take engines apart all the time.
i have an old 13b that will be getting a rebuild soon.

 

I may be rebuilding one within the next 4-6 weeks, it will depend on if I'm actually going to buy this particular 7 and if it needs new soft seals. The rebuild would happen in Omaha, NE.

 

Any of you guys want an extra set of hands?
