New to Kansas
Hello everyone, my name is Joe. I just moved to Overland Park about a month ago and I'm looking to meet some people who are fellow rotary owners. Post up and let me know if anybody in the area is interested on hitting up a bar some weekend.

Whats up Chris. You don't happen to be that guy who pulled up to me in my montego blue FD and mentioned that he had two FCs? Anyways, I had another question I forgot to put on the thread. Is there a website for the KC rx7 club?

Somebody oughta make one, then. I could host it, but I'm just a bland, meat and potatoes sitebuilder. Lots of text in an easy-to-read and simple format, nothing flashy. If anyone has some HTML/PHP/Flash/etc abilities, we could collaborate on it, and I can get it up on the net pretty easily.

Thanks for the replies guys. I live over by the KU Edwards campus, or whatever it is called. I just purchased my first rotary powered car a couple weeks, now that I have finally finished college and have an income. I got a 93 touring 5 speed, all stock, with only 51000 miles on it. An older guy owned it before me and only drove it a couple thousand miles a year for the past 13 years. However, I need to get this shitty stock exhaust system out of it soon. I hate having to run the ac to keep the warm from the air from the engine bay burning up my feet. Anyone have a good place to work on our rotaries at?

<--Yuppie, embrace it
I'd imagine there are a few shops in the area you should be able to trust to put on an exhaust. I'm sure there are others who may offer up their garages. Are you looking for just a cat-back or a down pipe too?

That's probably your pre-cat warming the floor. A heat-coated and/or wrapped downpipe will do wonders, but a little more involved than just the cat-back. If it's still there, you need to get that pre-cat off ASAP for a host of reasons.
BTW, what exactly do you mean by "older guy".

Hi, My name is Trevor, I am 21 and currently in the US Army, I live in Korea, but am moving to FT. Riley Kansas, I own an 87 TII-alot of mods, and an 04 rx8. I am originally from Idaho, where i was an active member in the Idahorotary club, and still am, I guess i am just saying that i am looking meet new people with the same interests as me in Kansas, before i get there. I will be getting there Feb. 10th 09 and will be there for a few years. i loved to race autox, and did alot of drag racing in idaho, but i am getting away from that scene, i want to get more into road racing and autox. I do understand that you have a KCSCCA there too, i am definatly looking forward to that. anyways, hit me up with a pm, and any information such as a KS rotary club or what not..
Thanks
Trevor
Thanks

Not sure about the local autoX events, but you'll be about 30 minutes from Topeka...SCCA's National Hqts. so I'd guess it's pretty active.
