KS Need a tuner KC - PowerFC

I need to find a tuner for my FD. My car is showing a lot of knock on my commander.

I am in Kansas City, KS. Willing to drive a ways (no knock when I stay out of boost) to get tuned.

I'm also in the process of getting a datalogit and wideband.

Musclecar Specialties are great tuners. They don't have much rotary experience, but they are brilliant guys with a lot of experience tuning 8-12 second drag and street turbo cars. I was about to have them tune my non-exsisting Rtek, and they seemed pretty confident about it. They are out off I-35 and Santa Fe, so they are quite a bit closer than some of your other options. I know that most rx7 owners don't want to take rotarys to piston tuners, but go talk to them sometime and see if you think they are good enough to tune your car. I bet you will.

London Motorsports referred me to them a couple days ago...the only problem is that it seems they don't answer the phone. I've called several time and only get the machine. Kinda worries me when a shop won't answer the phone.

Modified by KC, MC Racing, House of Boost, Revline... try any of those guys yet? I hear great things about all four of them but I don't know if they have rotary experience.

Modified by KC said I would have to purchase a HKS F-CON V-Pro, because my PowerFC is "inferior". I tend to think they want me to purchase the HKS unit because only HKS dealers can make adjustments which means more money in their pocket when I make changes.

MC Racing hasn't given an answer yet for the Power FC.

House of Boost won't touch it

Revline won't touch it.

Good luck!!!

My advise is not to let piston guy touch your rotary even if he's a bad *** tuner. The torque, timing, and fuel curve is way different than the piston engine.

BS!! Don't listen to piston guy they don't know nothing about rotary. If you want your car tuned I have the datalogit you can use. Tunning the PFC is really easier than other ems beside the microtech. Listen up you don't want piston tuner touching your rotary unless you're planning on rebuilding your motor really soon.

Why not have Steve Kan come to KC and use Revline dyno? Choung is a really cool guy to deal with. I'm planning on bringing my 20B turbo FC for some tuning next week there.

I wouldn't have a problem with this. I'm also thinking of saving up $, taking a couple days off work, and taking the car to Banzai.
