If there is a problem with them it should be fairly obvious on whats going on. Ie ate up turbine , leaks or blows lots of oil. Turbos are fairly simple machines.
Did you buy the car localy?

Well I figured out what my problem is, the car has a 3 inch down pipe, hks intakes, and a larger intercooler, and well I still have a stock ECU. If I keep the car at 10 lbs boost it will not cut at all, but if I smash the throttle, the boost tends to spike to 15lbs and when that happens, it cuts. I beleive it is a fuel cut and I need to get a manual or electronic boost controller and probly a new ECU and then get it tuned.

I bought it from hastings MN

Stock ECU with your mods anything over 10psi is playing with FIRE. Get your boost down or you'll be looking for a new motor here very soon.

You should not have a boost spike like that if the stock main cat is in place. Other wise you may have a vacume issue. Also a boost controller may not help the issue with twins. The only real solution I have found is to port the wastegate and area around it. These cars also do not have a fuel cut what your feeling is detonation. Do not keep doing that! A power fc helps but with your mods the stock ECM will work for now.
If it's the red fd with the white front bumper I know the one your talking about. I did the rebuild on the motor a few years back. It was set up sequentially and running like a top last time I saw it.
