Yes. Mostly in Omaha/Bellevue area but some in Lincoln too. Use to be an FD in the Hastings area, but never met the owner. I've been in GI a few times with my car for short business trips, and planning on going to an autocross event at the Lincoln Airport site on the 19th.

I don't know anyone off-hand with a shortblock. I'm not sure of the differences in the TII vs. NA internals but I don't think they're the same. One of the local guys will know or you can search in the 2nd gen. section.

Don't know where your at with experience, tools or finances. But if you just want to get a reasonably priced short block rebuild, I recommend either one of these people. Both have been in business for a long time, and both appear to have a conscious. Depending on exactly what is wrong, you many not be able to do it for much less.

And excuse my confusion earlier. You posted that you had a GTU but I read it as a TII....sorry. The GTU internals will be the same as any other NA, which will probably make things simpler however you go.

EDIT:
Forgot about Prather Racing as one more alternative. They've got alot of experience in building short blocks and alot closer than the others...Topeka Ks.

FD in Omaha!

I am in Omaha. My car has not been running in a long time, but hopefully soon. I cannot seem to figure out what is wrong with it? I need to find someone with some advanced FD knowledge.

I can read the FSM (but like the pictures best ) and we have a couple of other guys around that are pretty good with these cars. When the weather breaks we'll put the local brain-trust on it and get you going.
