My Car is having troubles...

I bought a second generation Rx-7 about two weeks to two and a half weeks ago. I have since put on it about 350 miles. It ran perfectly up until two days ago. The muffler tip flopped out on my due to rust and was lost to the road. Now just yesterday, the start up has caused me worry. I turn it over and it reves to 2500 rpm, and I have to hit the gas to drop it down to the normal idle levels. It also seems to raise the oil pressure a little quicker than it used to. I start it and the oil pressure shoots right to 60 lbs. And as I'm driving it, it jumps up to sixty when it reaches 2000 rpm. It used to stick in between 30 and 60 lbs. for that. Anyone got any ideas on what could be wrong with it? I don't think it's the seals, or I wouldn't have any oil pressure would I?

It's my first rotary, and I love it to death. I'd like to get it back up in running condition asap.

Thanks

Mike
