I saw a few RX-8s on my visits to campus, so I expect there are some 8s and 7s in the area.

My fiancee and I will be looking to buy a house in the area as we will be there while I am in the EE Ph.D. program. If anyone has any advice on where to live (or not to live), contacts for homes to buy, or local RX club info, then feel free to add to this thread.

 

I used to visit UIUC a lot when I worked for UIC. But Tom should know more than me. He used to live there.

 

There were three FDs besides me when I went to school there, but hopefully they've both gradauted by now One was red owned by a jackass, one black owned by a *gorgeous* girl, and one that I never saw owned by Ashgar (I think he's still around on here).

Bunch of broken down looking FBs, and a nice FC here and there. Again, this was a few years ago. I don't know any rotary people in Champaign anymore.

It has a 2 car garage & an outside two story "barn" 12.5' x 16' (can you say RX-7 work area?). It's in Champaign (Parkland Ridge). Does this area suck or is it okay?
