Midwest Fall BBQ in Lawrence, Sat. Oct. 21.

shelter has been reserved so we are on for the fall bbq.
same place as last time, outlet park, below clinton lake dam.
hope everone that came last time can make it out again and hopefully we can get some new faces to show.

more details to come, just giving everone the thumbs up.

I was starting to wonder if this was going to happen.

Matt got his silver FD up and running, so there will be at least two there most of the day. I still haven't figured out my stalling problem but at least if it rains I'll have a bit more tread on my rear tires so I won't kill myself on the way there.

Good call. My coolant temps get scary when it heats up like that. Hopefully with lower ambient temperatures I can stave off that heat-related stalling problem.

If the bbq was ever on a "nice" day when it wasn't raining, then maybe we could get some of the FD guys from K.C. to come up. They might have an idea about Eric's stalling problem too .

I got blasted for even suggesting that I bring my Miata last time just to enjoy the scenery. These guys made me buy an FD before I could show up. j/k

Oh, Matt, I figured out why the car likes to fishtail when the second turbo kicks in and in anything other than really dry pavement. The back tires were almost completely bald whereas the fronts had plenty. Two and a half hours of kicking the wheels free and amazingly I have traction again! I also found two nails in on of the tires how neat is that?
