hey guys, i just got my FD from memphisraines last friday, just got it up and running (flooded, small coolant issue) tonite, lookin to see how many more michiganders there are around, i'm from lansing...

hopefully theres a few of you around because i already know i am going to need your help and guidance haha...

There are a few of us in the Grand Rapids and Holland area, more around Detroit. Good luck with your new find.

BTW, I'll be putting together a meet in Grand Rapids in a few weeks so keep an eye out for it.

There is usually a pretty good meet in Lansing in Sept, I believe. Mazdamanda puts it together every year. Keep looking for information.

Hey, Are you interesting in coming to Grattan with us on May 11th? I rented it to host an Open Track day. We're even camping the night before outside turn 1!

 

Glad to hear there is another FD in the area. I'm out in RO but not opposed to rolling out to Lansing.

Whoever is in charge of the Grattan day, can you send me some info?

oh wow that would be sweet, i'll have to check my calender because sometime around then i'll be down in florida for a friends wedding.... i've been good, haven't seen you around in a looong time, whatcha been up to man? i'm still out in okemos, trying to get through college , your more than welcome to swing by anytime you want, i'll shoot you my number over PM so if your ever in the area you can swing by (although dont you have family around here? or your GF/fiance?) regardless good to see your still around, i am still envious of your PGT ... i'll let you know on the track day though, even if i can't bring out the FD for whatever reason i'll probably still have the protege to play around with ...

Still in Good old Okemos eh,,, cool stuff... Ya, I have that same girlfriend... i was supposed to go over there Sunday for Easter, but i think I'm going to stick around home in Windsor. Here's something new. I did move to the US this past year. I'm renting a place in Royal Oak, so if your every in the area, I can show you around!

 

Is there anyone in Michigan that is good at fixing rotaries? I need to get my FD running this spring, once my turbos come back from rebuild, and I can't seem to find anyone. I checked the Midwest forums mechanic reference thread, and tried to call Steve Dewitt at My Auto Import Center, but the guys who answer the phone won't let me speak to him directly.

 

I'm about 60 miles into NW Ohio, not too far away from you guys, there's a pretty strong group in Ft Wayne, IN
