Arrow Massive stockpile of parts in Mid-Michigan

Hi all, I'm brand new to the forum so forgive me if this post is in the wrong area.

I just bought out a couple storage unit FULL of RX7 parts and was wondering if there would be any interested parties around the boards. I've not made my way through all of it but so far I've come across 5 engines, 6 transmissions, control arms, turbos, loads of suspensions parts, wheels, hoods and plenty more.....the motherload of all motherloads.

I hate to see it all sold as scrap at the recycling yard so I thought I would give this a try first.

Get in touch if any of this sparks your interest.

Thanks!

Is this the old Lockwood stockpile in South Lyon?

If so, I remember there being a few things I may be interested in. I'm in Greenville, over by G.R. Can I come and look at what you're sitting on?

First off, I will take pictures of the wheels and post them first thing in the morning. I don't know enough about what is what to give an accurate description.

Secondly, if you would like to come take a gander.....the sooner the better. We have a 16' rental truck (that needs to go back soon) partially full sitting in the driveway, and our garage doesn't have much more space to store stuff. We haven't moved the engines or trans from the storage unit yet. What kind of time frame are you thinking? We are in Brighton, about 25 miles east of Lansing.

Guys, I'm going to go look at the parts tomorrow after work. Will post what I see.

I spoke to Gary on the phone, he's really on a crunched timetable to get rid of the parts. He just unloaded a bunch at the junkyard today. He's paying to rent the trailer by the day. For example, on the phone, he said he had a bunch of manual trannies he'd be willing to sell for EXTREMELY cheap (not going to name the price on the thread, best to ask him directly). Also had body panels (cut rear quarter panels, etc). Also had a set of wheels for what I believe to be an FB, and a set for FDs.

I'll take my camera with me. PM me before 5pm EST if there's anything specific you want me to look at.

Call me...

Gary, give me a call if you would. I am interested in the Turbo hood if it isn't already gone, and may be a few other things. I may be able to get out there tomorrow (Wed.), by Friday at the latest.

Thanks,

Ok guys, there are a few things that Gary has up there that are not listed or pictured.
2 complete FD LSD units with diff bushing brackets
1 Full set of very good condition FD irons (manual trans rear)
FD brake rotors and calipers

2 S4 TII transmissions
1 S4 TII Differential that looks pretty new with solid diff bushings welded in
TII rear subframe with good condition later links

Then there are lots of other misc FC parts in boxes

I will let him tell you guys about the brand new 4 link rear end , front and rear brake kit and wheel/tire package This is a really nice setup.
