Looking for the Rotary Friendly Near Road America
Team Sensory Assault - our 24 Hours of Lemons Team will be racing Road America August 20-21. Race is on a Monday and Tuesday.
I will be in the area a few days early to watch the American Lemans series and see whatever else there is to do in the area.
Anyhoo, looking to see who in the area we can call in for emergency support if needed. Also looking for others in the area coming to see the 24 Hours of Lemons. Come hang with us in the paddock for sure!
We are running our FC turbo with full turbo drivetrain. We all know they break. If you have any kind of FC part stash or know where we possibly could get whatever we could break. Send me a PM or post up here. Just looking for someone to call in case we need to buy something to fix the car. Its your opportunity to help us out! Or hell, maybe jack up the price and scalp us.
I would like to be able to tell you what parts we might need but so far our car likes to surprise us and need the only part we DIDN'T bring.
This is what our car will look like (except it will be number 7) in case you are looking for us:
^^^ Hopefully without the *** jacked up like in this picture and us working on it. That's Ari Yallon wtching us work on the rear end. lolz
What is the weather like in Wisconsin in August? Will we Texans need to bring any Polar Bear Repellent or is Wisconsin too cold for polar bears anyway?
See you all there and hope to hang out with some of you.

Looks good, love the air scoop. Aside from breakage, that is probably a pretty fast lemons car?
Polar bears don't come out until late september. I would guess weather in the 75-90 degree range during the day and 50-70 at night. Should be comfortable enough for a Texan.
Elkhart Lake area is really nice and is close to some great roads in the Kettle Moraine forest. But not a lot else to do close by.
If you don't mind the city, Milwaukee can be fun. Can't go wrong with a Miller Brewery tour and I've heard the Harley museum is pretty nice. I don't know if they still do it, but a Harley factory tour is pretty cool too whether you're into Harley or not.
There's also the EAA Air museum in Oshkosh and of course the Lambeau/Packer's hall of fame in Green Bay.
Good luck!

I will be there possibly tonight the 16th and tomorrow to watch the American Lemans series.
I am located about 15 miles west of the track. No spare FC parts for me, but I do know of 2 in a junkyard about 1.5 hours from the track.
Elkhart is an awesome town, my girlfriend and I use it as a gateway, lots of great restaurants with live music, an excellent lake with a public beach. Always great to hang out at the bar between the club gatherings and race events always a variety of car enthusiasts.
Hopefully I will have my MB FD there on Friday, I need to have my g5 gauge back from Innovate when I get home tonight.
Defiantly should meet up.
Names Zac, I’ll PM you my phone number.
