I just now noticed this.

I have an acquaintance who filed a lawsuit against them for selling him one thing for his car and installing another. IE Apex N1 muffler for some cheap ebay knockoff.

Anywho, come to find out when he went to the BBB, County Courthouse, wherever he went, they showed they had no business license. Kinda funny.

I think ill try to stay away from now on.

 

Not sure about what you've just said but the owner John is a good guy.

 

John is a nice guy so is everybody else I know there. From what I hear and see they would never do such a thing. I don't think John would appreciate what you said about his shop but I'm sure they hear comments like that all the time. That's the first one I have heard about LightSpeed, but Adrenaline gets a lot of **** made up about them too.

 

I got the Vibe he was a pretty good guy when we went there to do Gary's tuning, and it looks like they do good work.

The kid who told me all this is a huge ricer, and not having a business license sounds like an oddball think to make up/lie about.

He shops now at adrenaline, and gets sold stupid **** with outrageous prices there.

BTW You can be a shitbag and not appreciate people being told that.

My friend had his wheels stolen and then eventually the car was stolen from John's lot. An other buddy of mine had some problems with them as well.

Ive seen his exhaust. Its a cheap knockoff, and you can tell where the tag that was welded onto the side of the miffler was pulled off.

Is it possible they're incorporated under a different name? I went to the bbb website and the only lightspeed motorsport it can find is in Louisiana.

I guess its possible. Someone can have a business license and not be registered with the BBB though. As far as I know the BBB is a voluntary thing.

Vietnam, not Japan ... visiting family for the new year. Although I think he's back now.

Every shop is shady, that's just the way it is. Lightspeed I think are good honest guys, but like every shop I'm sure they've done a shady deal or two in their day. John is a nice guy that does good work, and Tommy is a helluva fast and thorough worker.

 

He said something about the the 5th today, maybe finish my car tommaro.
