I am a big fan of the Sunday in the park meet. That said it can interfere with auto-x. I also tend to like a nice tidy private Rx-7/Mazda meet, keep the idiots out. I remember one particular time some dorifto (idiot) Nissan 240sx owner got the cops called on us after spraying gavel at some random guys car.
God I'm getting old.
There are those of us (and he should know I am talking about him), who have a nice spot in the country with plenty of parking and room for activities, ie cook out, work out car problems. It is a drive, but there are nice country roads out there as well.
Shawnee Mission Park has a good location and plenty of parking, the only question is when.

No Fast Fridays or Sonic meets for I... No time for love, Dr. Jones. No time for bro'n it up, either.
Whoever this country-boy ****** is may not want a bunch o' strangers tootin' around. Das Shawnee Mission Park on a Saturday or Sunday has always been grand with me. Especially now, with the weather being so nice. If everyone brings some chow that was made with washed hands we could have a gay old time. I be tied up on the April 7th/8th weekend, but would be good for a later afternoon (4 PM or later?) Sunday this weekend or the 15th. What works for everyone else?
P.S. ...Where's your 5 year badge, Gun Street Girl?

Ressurecting a dead thread but if anyone in the Overland Park area is interested could use a hand running through few things on my '87 FC and the weather seems to be staying nice. Be willing to return the favor if needed.
