Kansas Dyno Day/BBQ/March RX7 Club Meet

So we are still up in the air on the actual date, it is revolving around March 21st or March 22nd, but until we know for sure I need a head count of who all would be participating in the dyno. This will get us the best deal. We want to go as cheap as possible, so if you know that you will be there please post your screen name below.

As far as the BBQ, I would hate for some people to bring a side and some people forget, or to plan on someone bringing something but then they can't make it. So I was wondering what you all thought of having the event catered. I was going to call a couple of places and get prices. So again I will need to know how many mouths to feed and then we can split the cost, but before anything is final I will post what I find out on cost of food per person. Plus we wont have to clean up!

We have to put a cap on this thou, so if you are planning on coming, please sign up by March 7.

So please, below put you screen name along with if you will be participating in the dyno and how many people you will be bringing.

example: 1.Brent123, yes, 2
^username^participating^attending(include yourself)

To add your entry just copy and paste the list in the reply box with your name as the next number.

Thanks for all your help and can't wait for the turnout!

2. Rotarydave, yes, 2 (+don't forget that we need to include the people from MCS in the food count and it is only right and cool for us to cover that cost)

Good idea on this Brent

One important detail, especially for those who haven't been to one of the larger spring meet... Where will this be held?

I'm probably down, just wondering how much for the dyno + food first. Sounds like a great event to me.

Why do you say that I can't say that mine will be dyno worthy i am not sure which one i will be driving at that moment It could be a really cool widebody or it could be a lame as 88 vert either way it doesn't mean i can't jump on there to see how she really runs. Either way I am going to have a little fun with it.

Depends on if I get my engine done by not or then... I'll keep this updated if I do, I still need to find some S5 TII parts though so if anybody has anything let me know I need a lot of parts.

My 1975 needs the carb rebuilt. It has a bad hesitation in the carb. It also has a really bad issue with water pump cavitation/slipping belts. It's all stock except the previous owner removed the air pump. I put a double sheev pulley and belts on but it did not resolve the issue. I'll try a new water pump next. It's not a bad truck, just needs a little work. It's the best $350 I've ever spent on a rotary vehicle. I have a 1977 also but it spits oil out the tail pipe and has a bad clutch.
