i cant go i only have 60 for gas for the whole year for now untill i can find a job or somthing i got a job in the summer though working for the city laying asfault ant painting lines and stuff good luck on the meet though maybe i can go to the spring one can some one pm me the info on that one thanx latter

 

I hear ya man...these gas prices suck! There will be more meets in the spring. Midwest 7's had one in May or June in Lawrence this year and that would be closer to you if he has another one next year.

 

Hey guys i would love to bring my fd. I attend midamerica college in olathe. I cant afford to drive back home to springfield missouri pick the car up and drive it up here Gas would kill me. I will plan on attending the spring one. Boy i miss driving the rx. 450-500hp rx vs a base 3000gt. IT SUX!!!!!

 

wish i could attend i am stuck in iraq until december but will definately try to get my fb over to a spring event. it would be awesome to get with some local rotorheads

Great! I have a list of all that showed interest. Some are still a maybe and the way it sits now, I'm figuring around 10-15 cars. Got a couple of 8's coming from KC & Omaha.
Two maybe three from Newton. A FB from Tulsa. Several FC's from Wichita. Don't think I have any FD's yet.
The weather has degraded some, went from 74 a few days ago to 59 forcasted on Saturday. The chili was a good idea huh? I can only bring so much chili, sorry 1st come 1st serve. Anyone arriving later can get a bite to eat at Players Sports Bar & Grill, which is real close to the Park entrance on 21st street.
Bajaman's 7 is down with a engine rebuild, he said he may stop by.

Trying to find a program to compress the video of still images to upload. I'll work on that tonight and post a link.

 

I enjoyed the trip, and meeting all who attended. I will be working on getting the video from the cruise edited, and hope to have it cleaned up and hosted sometime in the next few days.
I hope that most, if not all, of the guys that were there can make it to Tulsa next spring for the BBQ, planning is already underway.

Don't worry about it. Hey I didn't even get off at the right exit on the way back and ended up by Boeing! I was following the guys from Lawrence and didn't know they were heading back home, so they didn't get off and I went with them. Then I figured it out.

Does anyone know a shop that will build one of my 12A's to prep it for a turbo in kansas? I REALLY don't feel like shipping it to cali...****...I don't even know if it's worth the trouble...I have never seen it run in the 2 years I have had it.
