Gauging interests in one more(?) all rotary meet before it gets toooo cold. Seems like there are meets everywhere except in the Wichita area. I know you're out there! So lets do it! Preliminary thoughts would be at Sedgwick County park, west of the Zoo. Bring your wife, kids or girlfriend(s) Oct. 22nd. Check your calenders and plan to meet. With short notice...this will be a no T-shirts no BBQ (unless someone is creative in short notice) Hopefully beer if allowed there. We'll make it a social event to get to know each other. KC, OKC area guys we need you, and the drive would be easy.
It would be nice to get at least 15 commitments to make this worthwhile. If not 15 or bad weather, we'll plan a big spring event...with t-shirts, food and maybe door prizes. Wichita is centrally located and we can make this work!

That would be great! I'm working on park location and a map. I emailed the Park director about the meet and waiting on a response. As far as time, I thought around 1:00 since we won't be doing the BBQ. (at least this year) Plus it would give the people driving a longer distance more time.

I'm going to the Park either tonight or tomorrow and do a drive thru and see where the best spot(s) would be. I'll follow up with a map and post it here along with a Map Quest link for the ones driving from a distance.

There were only a few shelters available for our 22nd meet. So I went ahead and reserved one at the park which is good for all day. I'm trying to make contact with the local Mazda dealership for some goodies. May not happen, but I'm trying.
Still debating on food....Maybe.... a big pot of chili just might work.
