I've got a friend who's thinking of picking up an FD but wanted me to feel out if there're any reputable rotary shops first in his area first. (as his regular turbo shop said no way, lol) He's in near Indianapolis IN. As always, thanks in advance!

Wheres your friend located in Indianapolis? I am about to move to the Carmel/Fishers area which is just north of Indianapolis. I grew up in Indy.

 

Just shot him a question, as I forget exactly where he is. So are you familiar with PowerFC tuning and/or know somewhere he could take an FD with one? I kinda expected to get more feedback/for there to be more RX shops in such a car oriented area.

 

Well tuning wise you would want to tune it with the Datalogic. Im pretty familiar with the PFC, but it really depends on the extent of the tune that he needs.

I keep hearing about Bonzia Racing in northern Indy.

LOL.. I didn't realize Banzai was in Indy and am sure they'd be able to cover any of his needs. (providing he was Ok with getting it to/from them of course) Right now the FD in question simply seems to be running really rich, in turn causing lousy fuel economy and I expect the miss it has as well.

Still interested in hearing of other tuners, in case he winds up wanting somebody closer. (I'd just go with Banzai & wish they were as near to me!)

 

I am probably the only PowerFC tuner in Indy. I could take a look at it sometime. Does it matter have a wideband installed?

 

Where @ in Indy are you located? Do you have a shop?

 

Turns out he's actually about an hour south of Indy and he'd no doubt be grateful for any help.

We are in Indiana, however not in Indianapolis (Indy). We do tune a lot of the cars from Indy and the other southern cities of IN.
