If you tuning with Steve Kan at Tuxedo Park Racing READ THIS!
Since the other thread is getting a little confusing, and has some conflicting information, I am posting this to summarize. No excuses for not knowing this information!
Dyno tuning will take place at Tuxedo Park Racing, 1401 Mississippi Ave, Bay #4
Do not use online maps to get directions, they will be wrong! I will post a follow up to this post with correct directions.
Dyno time is $85/hour. In order to keep things moving and be fair to everyone all dyno time will be billed, regardless of whether the dyno is running or you are fixing things. If you are having problems and want to stop the clock, we will pull you off the dyno and you will move to the last tuning session of the day. We have two lifts available and pretty much any tools you might need to fix your car, but again, as long as your car is on the dyno you will be charged the hourly rate.
We accept cash, check and now Visa/Mastercard for dyno time.
If your car does not start and run or is otherwise not ready to go when it is your turn on the dyno, you will be moved to the end of the day and the next person in line will be tuned. No exceptions!
We will have race gas and methanol available, but can only sell sealed containers from our inventory. If you need to remove gas from your car to put in race gas, bring a siphon hose and containers to store it in. We will not siphon or dispose of any gasoline.
Coffee and donuts will be provided in the morning. There is a soda machine at the shop, if you want to bring other food or drinks, you are free to do so. There is also a convenience store just a minute from the shop. We have wireless Internet , so if you want to bring a laptop feel free. Weather looks good, but regardless of the weather, the shop will stay reasonably warm and fume free.
Tuning starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday! Depending on how late we go Saturday night, Sunday start time may vary, check here for an updated start time, otherwise, we will start again at 8:00 a.m. Please be prompt.
Shop phone is (618) 874-8003. My cell is (314) 541-7485. If you have questions, ahead of time please call the shop or e-mail me - steve@tuxedoparkracing.com
Thank you all very much for your business, and we look forward to seeing you Saturday morning!

Directions to the shop:
From I-70/55/64 take Route 3 South. This is the last Illinois exit when headed west, and the first when headed east, just across the river from downtown St. Louis.
Go through one traffic light then take a right in front of the gas station on "Yellow Brick Road". Head toward "Pop's" nightclub, then turn right immediately in front of the "Penthouse Club".
Drive north along the building until you get to Bay #4 (there are big "4's" painted on the wall).
Entrance is through the roll-up door. If the door is closed, lift it up and come on in. There is enough room inside to park all cars being tuned, but all other vehicles must be parked outside.
Thanks!
Steven

I'll set aside a can of meth. Buying houses is a pain in the ***. Phil - your plugs are good, electrodes are a little round, but should be okay. See you all bright and early!

Good, cleaning old plugs to run is one thing but cleaning old plugs to use for a new high boost tune is a big hell no.

Eric: John Roberts is off the list - he will not be able to get his wiring issues straightened out in time. He can't post here because his computer is f'd up.

Your best bet for cheap/quality is Collinsville area, 10 minutes from the shop but I don't have any specific recomendations. Or splurge and get a good one downtown St. Louis - those are the closest that don't offer hourly rates.

Just in case anyone was nervous as of 10:00 this morning there are almost 100 gallons of C16 in various size containers at the shop. Along with 99.95% pure M1 methanol and a variety of other fine VP Racing fuels. I also have 20 gallons of VP Import, but I completely understand if none of you are man enough to handle that.
