Well, it would work out if you pushed it back a week or so... I can make it, just not with the 8, and it be cooler if we all had our cars. Id like to check out the rx7s.

lol well i got one of the rx8 guys to tag along, but if not too many people gonna come out, we should just do a bigger meet at a park or something later on. Hopefully then everyone's car gonna be drivable or what not.

I myself won't be able to make it either. My girlfriend's nephew's birthday party is tomorrow and my friend and his wife are back from California and having their wedding reception tomorrow night so I'm booked. Also, I only have the Daihatsu running right now and don't like taking it on long trips (no radio in it yet).

well, for the spring meet then, lets actually get the date solid at least a month in advance, and one that everyone agrees on. well get all the 7 and 8 guys to show up. maybe ill bring the FC and FD by then. hopefully everyone will have their cars running well enough (Ian buy a battery)
i would say late april early may, but remember, april showers bring may flowers. so lets say may to avoid the probable and very likely high chances of rain.
but, whatever the group decides, lets just decide early enough we can all make it.

Yea, we just need to get something set so that everyone can make it and need to figure out what date works for everyone instead of like 3 people. lol Hopefully by the time we have a meet I'll have a decent vehicle to bring instead of a beater. lol

I vote May 30, at my house. Actually, we can meet up either at my house or at the park here in Washington. Plenty of parking area and end of May should be a pretty good time as far as weather. That is Memorial Day weekend. May 30th is a Saturday. Also it would be really easy to find since its a smaller town. The park has pavillions and grills available if we would want to use them. There is no need to rent the pavillion and worse case scenario if the pavillions are taken on that day we can roll back to my house or just hang in the park and BS. Throwing out ideas here. I know Washington isnt "in the middle" for everyone.

Maq - 2 hours???
QC - 1.5 hours
CR - 1 hour
IC/CV/NLib - 30-45 min
NLond - 45 min

What do you guys think?

Nice Jesse. What color you going to paint it then?

I now live in Dubuque but forgot to update my thing. Washington is about a 2 hour trip for me, no big deal. I know by May I'll at least have the Civic to drive and the Daihatsu will be sold by then, so that would be better for me. Maybe even by then I'll have my Wrangler.

LOL Just got caught up on this thread. I really don't understand why it's so difficult for us Iowans to set up an outing and make it work LOL Well, this latest one doesn't surprise me...I know I won't take my RX-7 out this time of year, but we even have trouble setting them up and getting people to show up later in the year!

So then would it be better to shoot for Saturday May 23? I know Rich's B-day is in there somewhere so he would probably have plans then. May 10th is Mothers day so we shouldnt have it on that weekend (its caused problems before with planning meets).

Jason - How far out do you know your weekend schedule?

I agree with Blade that we should set up a time/date far enough ahead so that its easy to ask for time off if need be. I know he works most weekends so he needs plenty of time advance notice.

Jsayers - You live in Fairfield right? You should hit me up on my cell next time you are gonna be in town if its a weekend. 319-461-0694

Edit: Jesse, I still want a ride in that beast of a car you have.

just as a note i scheduled the meet about one month out but i kept having to move it. I think form now on if someone cant make it for w/e reason that's their loss and no rescheduling.
