Just trying to fix what's broke.

But I honestly think his car is closer than he thinks and to do all that work to put back to stock is really a shame.

I think he'll be more than happy if he get's it to work.

350-400rwhp is enough to make most ppl giddy in these cars.

Im sure it is, but i don't want to deal with it right now. I want a fun car i can drive right now. Gonna keep kit and work on it slowly and put it back on when its fully ready. (if i dont sell) BTW its not hard to do the swap. Did it in 4 hrs. from turbo to stock. Pretty sure i can go back turbo in same time..
Also 350whp is pushing reliability on the renesis. Only car iv seen with that much power has LOTs of mods, new apex seals, pinned, different turbo, wg and what not.

I see no reason you can't get 350-400 with AI.

And to be honest that would be the only way I'd turbo a 10:1 car LOL.

At minimum you should run water injection

Just cause i can, don't mean i want to too. Once i see more engines going up in those numbers i might give it a try, but while stock ren with turbo DD most iv seen is like 300. and thats a benchmark for everyone.

Like i said, im gonna tune my ecu to another car so i can fix the start up problems and idle probs.. If i cant sell in 1 month i will put back on.

You can't tune your car based off another car unless they have the EXACT same setup. Even then there are differences.

Just borrow a WB and take a few minutes to tune it.

Anyway gl with her.

No but i can tune the start up a little better. At the end start up is practically the same when cold. My computer can't hook up so doing this with friend computer will be nice.

I can ship it to you on Monday if you want it. I have never used it so I don't know of it's condition.

I am not sure yet. The guy I was building this car for is kind of flaking on me and I don't want to spend any of my $ on it.

I will let you know ASAP when I know what's going on.

u gotta do the clutch and slave cylinder too- plus the wiring for the auto has to be changed over to the manual setup...

not a walk in the park- specially if u haven't done before.

well the wiwirng for the misc sensors- reverse light vs neutral saftey switch and the iwitng for the gear selector.

ive never done one in an FC so idk about the ECU

i knwo newer cars with elec controlled trans use the main ecu or have a separate one for the transmission. Not sure if that was going on in 1987 tho- id bet no

I think between the both of us we have about 11+ trannies

Eric got the most TII trannies (think I only have 2x TII trannies) but I have the most spare FD and NA trannies!

Anyone interested in a 1987 Mazda RX7 SE roller?

Tornado Silver Metallic with red interior.

140K miles.

Interior is all there. No motor or trans.

Will need all new brakes.

$400/OBO.

No power windows.

It doesn't have a hood but I would include one steel black hood and one aluminum black hood for the full asking price.
