I had a few more questions about it, How does it handle in the winter? Can it warm up normaly? I kind of want one for this winter, just something to get me around when temps are kind of low and no ice or snow. My rx8 will be on stands most of winter since ill be doing plenty of mods to it. And i already had a few minor accidents cause of the snow last year on it and don't want more. We could take this comv to Pm's if mods dont like this.

Also is anyone going to the Chicago meet the 9th? I know ill be stopping by during lunch break when we go to Six flags.
Thanks

Progress pics of "The Hood"

Filled and all the insane amount of rock chips feathered out:

Etch primed (bare metal areas):

In primer:

Tomorrow it will be flipped over and the bottom will be sprayed. Next, it will be flipped back right-side up and then sprayed and the hood will be done (after buffing). The chin spoiler will also be sprayed at same time as top of hood.

It's definitely JDM dude. We need to just leave the exhaust the way it is because that's mad tyte JDM super drifto style muffler. Also, that "push button start" is super sweet too like when you twist it and the car turns itself over without you pushing the button. And to top it off you have a t-shirt for a heatshield.

So its currently flipped over and is black with clear on it... Hey man I got a deal for ya... For 25 total, bring down a set of FTPs and I will make them look good (assuming you have a set now). Also, DONT FORGET THE BOLTS FOR THE BATTERY TRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Top of hood, scoop, and chin spoiler to be sprayed tomorrow. I will post pics then. For now, off to bed.

Yea, I do. There's a Brimeyer Autobody which is a body shop up here in Dubuque. They order a lot of body panels from our dealership and we do a lot of business with them. As far as anyone else with that name, I'm not really sure.

Steve - hopefully this car will be done soon. I wouldn't mind actually taking it out and driving it to see what it will actually do instead of having to be really easy on it due to the bad suspension pieces. It seems like it could still have some speed to it, but you can't push it because of the bad ball joints and wheel bearings. Are you able to come up this Sunday possibly? We could put a lot of time into it that day and get it mostly finished. If you ordered the wheel bearings and wheel studs they'd be here in time for Sunday.

EDIT: Yea Steve, I am super jealous of your super awesome drift machine. I'll just admit it.

What's up everyone?

I am new to this board and rotaries, but I live in Iowa and I thought this would be an appropriate place for a first post.

Quick summary... I live just east of Des Moines. I do not own a RX7, but I am planning on swapping a 13B into my '73 Super Beetle. I have 2 non-turbo 13Bs and 1 turbo 13B that I have to use, all fuel injected. I do not have an ECU to use with any of them, yet. I am wondering what it takes to get a EFI 13B to run with the least amount of hassle.

If anyone has any info or wants to help out in any way, I would appreciate it, if not, it's all good.

Hope I get a chance to meet up with some of you and work on some rotaries!
Later.
-Chris
