Hey guys! our last thread kind of died, (and was getting pretty long).
so, summer is coming, and I think it's time for a meet!
Lets get some ideas:
Location: likely IC, CR, or the QC.
Sub-Location: Restaurant, park, etc?
Date: a weekend...
Time: meet for lunch, at 11:00 or noon?

 

agreed. ian and i were just talking about this. I think we should have one in Iowa City. Resturaunt would likely be best. I can cruse to IC with the guys that might want to go from the Q.C. Since overtime is a non factor for me lately, sundays work Best for me(I have airsoft at my field on saturdays)... would be best if we could do like i did with someone local to I.C. and get something reserved. anyways my blue and white Rx-7's will be there.

You guys pick a date. The rumors I have heard lately at work are pretty much all saying that I wont have any sort of life outside of Modine so if I can make it I will and if not then Im being miserable at work wishing I was there.

To give you an idea I had Good friday, sat, and Easter Sunday off and I know I will have Memorial weekend off and anything else is up in the air. I am working this Sat (tomorrow) and Sun and most likely next Sat and Sun as well. FML

 

Theyre having a meet in des moines soon here if you guys want to come. Its an auto cross and meet with food etc etc.

Hey it was nice meeting some of you guys Sunday. I don't remember names too well but I recall meeting jsayers and maybe Ice_Wolf Sunday. I had to give a lot of ridealongs that day and had a lot of people come talk to me so I had a lot of names and faces to remember.

 

Wanted to let you guys know I'm still alive and I'm still working on my FC. It may be a lifelong battle, but I swear to Felix Wankel I will make this thing stupid fast.

One of these times I plan to come to one of your guys' meets but being that I work every weekend unless I go to the lake provides a challenge. Then again my fd is undergoing a rebuild at the moment so I still have awhile before I make it to an Iowa meet.

Never did get a chance to talk to you but myself and my 4 month old son were looking over your car in the paddock at one point in the afternoon. Was only there for a few hours but was hanging out with most of the German car crew. Looked good going around the track though!

 

They are having that Dyno day up in Center Point this weekend. Ill be up there, taking the repu.

 

I wish I would have checked this thread. I was competing there as well, but was with the Subaru crowd. I saw you there, Nealand, but didn't realize other RX-7 people were in the area.

 

Hi is there anyone in the lancing area? I live up in lacrosse wi but im looking for local guys. Even if they are an hour away :-P Also looking for an fc turbo in good condition but thats for another post.
