hard starting when warm :(

after cleaning all the grounds to get my 88 13b to run, i've been lately having a hard time getting it to start again after it has been warmed up.
pulling the fuse and cranking helps sometimes, otherwise i park where i can push and pop start it.

during the recent 10* F morning, she started right up with no problem at all. it is only after i try to restart it.

leaky fuel injectors ?? what do you guys think ??

TIA bob

worst case: difficult warm starts...low compression

Could be injector flooding, but I agree.... check compression.

Check the timing while you're at it...

Let's see... could be the TPS is out of adjustment, or faulty intake air temp sensor in AFM or UIM, or faulty water thermo sensor..... You should pull the error codes and see what the ECU thinks is bad. There is a How-to on our website for codes and tps adjustment

^^ditto

Unfortunately, this can be a bad sign of low compression - which means a chipped or partially cracked Apex seal. The car can run fine but, hot starts can be a give away to an otherwise unnoticeable problem (if the seal was blown completely you would know it). You might want to get your compression checked.

weird

That kind of seems like my car sometimes but, i think mine is more fuel related because them cars flood so easy most of the time... but mine runs constant like 60 lbs of oil pressure and what not.. and above so that is a good sign? plus i only have like 79000 on the original stock motor, and it was owned by a grandma...So mine shouldnt be compression right? I am ordering a JSPEC and using a atkins rebuild anyways but figured i would try and get my 0.02 cents in for some opinions
