Well, being in the middle of winter, the only thing you may see are some 8s, but certainly not at any strip.

Come April, we'll start coming out of hibernation.

As far as meets, there are two clubs in Chicago. Evolv and Rc³. The former does do more meets. Rc³...we're hurting in that department.

I assume you'll be stationed there for a while...there's a huge Mazda thing in May down in Indy that several of us will be going to.

We do a lot of autocross racing here in West Michigan, and we usually have at least 10% of the field made up of rotaries. Our club's website is www.furrin.org

Also, www.myautoevents.com is where almost everything car related gets listed, whether its a meet, a race, a show, or whatever. Check it out.

I've got some race videos linked in my signature line that you can check out to if you're really fiending.

If you're looking for some Drag- action...Great Lakes Dragway is just a few miles North of you (just across the IL-WI boarder off of I-94).
Blackhawk race course is about 50 -70 mi. West of you near Beloit/Rockford. And Road America is only about 2 hrs. North near Kohler WI (Elkhart Lake).
