Even if you don't currently have a 7, if you can make it you're welcome.....

! Rotorheads must attract the same kinds of people or something :p
Glad to see there is a GR crew alive and kicking!!

Just a bump to keep this on the main page... One other thing; this park has a disc golf course, so if any of you are into that, bring your discs. I have extras if anyone wants to give it a go. See you there!
how about a finalized post with meeting point/time etc, also after the "meet", how about we go to the local GR meeting points, get in on some hangout/street running and then lots of alcohol consupmtion afterward?

This will start at 2pm Saturday the 25th. Just go to the park (mapquest link in earlier post) and check the lots. There are several parking lots, and I plan on being there about an hour early to claim one for us. They have grills everywhere, so that won't be a problem.
After the formal session
we can always move over to my place (about 1/2 block away) where I have a HUGE yard and we are free to drink there....
A cruise would be cool too. I figure that whoever shows up can figure out what we want to do afterwards.
Also, if anyone coming from out of town would like to camp, as mentioned above I have a huge private yard and you will be welcome to it. Just let me know....

Hey, I'm headed out there. I'll be leaving from the Bloomfield Hills area so if you want to follow, we can meet somewhere! Just PM me.

Okay everyone. Two days to the event. Hope you can all make it still....
I will probably be at the park from 1pm so that I can stake out some territory for us to use....

It is on Byron Center Avenue between Chicago Drive and 28th st.
See you there!

Oh yeah. We've got all you can eat chili too! Some friends of mine own a catering business, and they participated in a chili cookoff challenge in Lansing today. Before I left, they hooked me up with 5 gallons of it as a donation to the event. I'm eating a bowl of it right now and its pretty damn good.

Great bbq! Tell your wife thanks for allowing us to work/drink at your place. I'll post pics tomorrow night so watch for a link. Next time, you'll have to take my car out for a spin (hopefully not literally like yours
) Should have gotten a picture of those marks on the pavement! Looking forward to the next one.

When are we doing this again? I'm booked for September (moving over there south of GR at the end of the month!) but maybe we could get a fall colors bbq and tour together? Of course with gas way up right now, how many would be up for a cruise?
I'd be up for it if my car ever sees the god damned road again *GRR*
