So a new season is almost here! Im going to be heading out to Gingerman Raceway Saturday April 2nd to shake off the cob webs. Anyone want to join!? The track is located just outside South Haven, Michigan. It is run by an amazing group of people.

This is a FULL DAY test n tune for only $150!!!

Would be awesome to have a caravan of rotary beasts out and runnning together!

The next couple of weeks will determine if I can make it. I still have to finish putting the car together (nothing major) and give her some shakedown runs. Just seems like I haven't got a minute to spare these last few weeks. Hopefully that will improve soon.

Previous track experience is a must! · Pre-registration is required. · Pay upon arrival to Gingerman at registration. · Drivers must attend drivers meeting 15 mins prior to start of Motorsport event. · Every person entering facility must sign K&K Insurance waiver upon entrance. · Helmets must be SNELL or DOT 2000 or newer. Helmet will be inspected at time of registration. · No passengers are allowed. · Convertibles must have roll protection. · All vehicles must have functional safety harnesses or safety belts worn at all times while on road course. · Hands must remain inside car at all times while driving on course. · If you suspect anything wrong with your vehicle, get off the course immediately!

Are there going to br any other of these test and tune days? I'm moving down to southern MI in June, and I'm looking for places to stretch the legs on my t2.

 

Gingerman usually has test and tune evenings on weekdays. Something like 60 bucks gets you a few hours of track time.

But we also do a lot of autocrossing in SW Michigan. Furrin.org will have the schedule posted for this year's events. Hope to see you around.

I'm actually going to be right by Ann Arbor, so I probably won't be able to make the trip over on weeknights.

Maybe later in the summer/fall though. I gotta get the dang thing running right first; unfortunately it's been kinda neglected for 2 yrs because FSAE has owned my life

 

There's also auto-x's over in the detroit region, and over at MSU we co-host a series of auto-x's with the Wester Michigan Region.
