Question Gauging interest for a Steve Kan tuning session in St. Charles IL - near Chicago

I believe there we at least 5 guys in the northern Chicago burbs/Wisconsin/Iowa area that are looking to get cars tuned. I am one of them. I have contacted Steve Jan and he is simply looking for 5 deposits and 4 weeks of lead time. I would love to get something set for the end of April. What does the interest really look like?

Bud I know you are one, Christian may be in and possibly a few others. Lets make this happen and start reviving the rotary power in Chicago land.

Who is in?
1. Dfoster154
2.
3.
4.
5.

I will get the full details on cost and dyno time. Steve has typical rates that he charges based upon the car and the tune requirement. The dyno is typically paid per hour. I will provide the full details soon.

How many are interested?

From his site...

Tuning costs:

$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

On all tuning sessions there is a Non-refundable $200 deposit.

Additional costs will be applied for dyno time. Most tunes take anywhere from 1-3hrs.
It`s not per hour, but for the session itself.

Thanks Christian. All the travel to London and back made staying on top of this a bit difficult.

Guys, if there is no interest, then I will be looking at cancelling the idea and just traveling to another area for this.

No problem. I was BEAT too. It was fun taking Godzilla around Silverstone .

Sunday I had to get prepped to go to Munich, so it was just a nutty day. Maybe next time.

Hmmm...that could be arranged if he was willing. Though I'd also need WI or AI if going that route, in particular if I'm going to get a 93 tune. No point with this setup otherwise.
