Ok I got news that Gaby is flying to Springfield Mo. to tune my cousin's twin turbo FD and he'll do tuning on whoever cars that needs one. If there's is more than 4 cars the price would be $350 each.

Wow... wish I had my '93 up and going... my '87 TII is running a stock ecm for break-in.... is there anyone else in the area who tunes? I know there are V-8 tuners.... didn't know if there is anyone versed in rotary tuning around Springfield.... bummer that I won't be ready in time for this.

To be honest I wouldn't trust anybody to tune our rotary beside Steve Kan and Gaby Skern. We flew a guy from Perto Rico and got burned bad (rather not get into details) I don't know when Gaby is coming back but I do know that he's want to get his name known in the midwest.

 

Sorry the tuning is on the 7th and 8th of October my bad I should of look at the date. On Friday October 7th after the tuning Gaby we are going to take the twinturbo FD to the track for TNT. On the 9th we are going to KCIR for the importfaceoff with the car. Everybody is invited.

Also I was told that if you need your motor ported or rebuilt on the same day Eddie Colon would be happy to do it. For pricing please pm me.

Anybody else needs a their rotary or piston tuned?

 

I was ask to let the everybody that getting their car tuned to make sure you get new plugs, everything tighten down, and make sure your battery is good (low voltage will cause timing issue). Also the $350 is the fee for Gaby tuning than dyno fee is $75 an hour. I use the autolite ar3931 if you can't obtain new plugs I can sell you mine at the dyno.

 

Glad you got this posted up on the 417rotary board james! Certainly appreciate the heads up on that. I should have my battery in today for the FD, at least that's what the fed ex tracking says. This needed to be a local rotary event for the club and I'm looking forward to it!

I got the FD up and running again, I'll be there with it.. But I can't tune it out on the road before the meet (I put a new base map in) cause the battery in the laptop crapped out, ha. If it's not one thing its another.

It is not too late to sign up for the tune. You can't beat the $350+dyno for Gaby tuning.

Just letting everyone know that planned on coming. Gaby and Eddie have been working really hard on getting this twin snail FD all buttoned up in preparation for the dyno.. It looks as though it might be later on this evening (around 5 ish) before dyno stuff starts going. The main meet for the club is still on at 1 tomorrow.
