i'll be at the autox sunday in auburn so depending on when that gets out. i have to go dump my trailer and stuff but i'll try to make it out. anyone up for an autox to show what the 7's can do besides me??

 

Assuming you are the same first gen that was at Rotary Revolution in 2005 that was tearing it up around the road course, I'd be embarassed to show up and claim the same car as you. I fear my 22 year old suspension is far from in its prime, haha.

 

yeah that was me. it a whole lot faster now if you wanna revamp your suspension let me know i have a bunch of stuff laying around i would cut some lucky semi-local owner a hell of a deal. right now i'm back to the same engine i had in then. my good one needs resealed this winter. i won't have it with me at the dinner though unfortunately. i dropped the insurance on it, road racing is really ******* expensive. but i will try to make it out anyways to hang out with you guys.

 

Yeah I get to hear about how amazing your car is from a couple guys I know from Fort Wayne a lot, and I definitely remember watching it go around the road course.

Oh yeah, and how much money do you have in your suspension now? Have you changed it at all since then?

i changed pretty much everything except for the panhard bar and sway bar i was running. i don't really wanna know how much i have in it now, it will just make me cry. i'll just leave it at that.

And also I will possibly be followed by a friend of mine who drives a 240, and the same guy that was with me last time will probably come as well.

 

It doesn't really matter how much money was spent on it as much as it matters how much the handling was improved, then. lol If I had someone to go with me, I would go to the autocross event just to check it out up close as opposed to watching it from behind a fence like I did before.

 

Who all is going to be there for the next one? We'll be meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings again on the second Sunday night from now, more than likely.
