Good thing this thread isn't getting all cluttered up with LS1 faggotry...........oh wait
Car is "done". Made 911whp and 866wtq at 18psi but the car wouldn't make power past 5500rpm. My coils were off a wrecked truck and the spark was leaking/blowing out on one of my coil packs. Tracy at Speedfab in Jacksonville, FL tuned the car and did a kick *** job Took it to the track, and without even trying to launch the car (2.8 60') it trapped 145mph on 12psi.
Few shots from a photoshoot last night

LS1 or LT1 SS? Stock clutch? It's a common problem for the clutches to "stick" on stock master cylinders. It woudn't surprise me if that was the issue http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/manual...-write-up.html
And the clutch pedal feels fine, does not stop part way up or anything.
Are they push or pull type slave cylinders?

Not yet. Think it pissed him off I couldn't make it to his dyno day this past weekend
Push type
Its a 99 SS with a Aluminum flywheel and Spec 6 puck clutch. Has been working great for 20k. Now it barely moves when you release the clutch pedal like the clutch is gone. It happened all the sudden, not like the clutch started slipping and got worse.

The fluid is pretty clean. Would a bad slave or maybe air in the system cause the clutch to not fully engage? But yet the clutch pedal feels fine...
Oh and I got the 7 back on the road today!! Just in time for winter...

Is it failing to fully engage (slipping) or release (can't get in gear)?
I've seen pressure plates fail and cause a lack of release (Azar's car).
And I hear you on the car. I got the new turbo setup on the road the beginning of October, and didn't get the big bugs out until mid October. Oh well, always next year.

Preaching to the choir, amigo. I can't fit in the car with a helmet, let alone a true cage haha. It'll get a 4pt roll bar when funds allow, *might* add down bars if I can fit them w/o cutting the door panels

Clean fluid is a good sign. A bad slave can make it not fully disengage.

It is failing to fully engage. Making to slip bad enough that you have to rev it 2-3k rpm for it to move.

Hey guys any of you familiar with neukin? I ordered a v-mount kit from him August 31, 2010 and have yet to get it, I keep emailing him and he rarely replies, when he does he keeps giving me a new excuse and saying a few more weeks and I keep saying ... Ok ... And a few weeks pass i email again same thing, so if any of you could help me that would be great I'm out 1300.00 and it's very irritating
Thanks in advance
Chris

Well after doing further research on BBB, google and Honda-tech I have found quite a few ppl in the same situation even another guy on this forum was over a year and a half I pm'd him to see if Neukin ever delivered, sounds like he's good if it's a common order but if it's a unique application or a lower moving product he doesn't seem to get it delivers in a reasonable time
